Introducing the new GRiDCASE 2507 - GRiD Defence Systems

We are very happy to announce the release of our latest device, the GRiDCASE 2507. A rugged tablet with a 7” Full HD display that includes new 10-point Multi-touch Resistive Technology, improving the user experience. A great addition to the range of GRiD’s customisable military spec tablets.

The size of the GRiDCASE 2507 gives it great flexibility in its use, making it the perfect piece of equipment for a range of projects and requirements. Coming in at a mere 1.275kg, it is small and lightweight enough to be easily portable by the user while the 1920 x 1080p 7” display is large enough and detailed enough to be used as a situational awareness tool, battlefield management system or maintenance terminal to fulfil all manner of testing needs.

The system is fully sealed and conductively cooled with all generated heat being expelled through the Aluminium chassis. The chassis not only aids in heat dissipation but also ensures complete rigidity protecting against drops and general use, mitigating the risk of damage and significantly improving the life expectancy of the product. To further aid this, alongside the 7” multi-touch touchscreen there are an independent thumbstick, mouse and function buttons to provide more functionality as well as build in an extra level of redundancy should the need arise.

The GRiDCASE 2507 uses market-leading technology to provide a 10-point multi-touch resistive touchscreen display, usable when wet or with gloved hands. The 10-point multi-touch allows for highly reactive pinch, zoom and rotation utilising the multiple touchpoints built into the full HD display, perfect for applications with mapping.

As with all GRiD products, the connectors and interfaces are configurable to suit your project demands, providing incredible flexibility and versatility from the small lightweight platform. The GRiDCASE 2507 includes a MiniPCIe expansion slot for easy inclusion with a number of interfaces.
