We’ve been very lucky to work on a lot of incredible projects over the years and as much as we’d love to tell you about each and every one of them there are some secrets that have to remain secret. Thankfully we can however show a selection of projects which we have worked on, providing our completely configurable Military Laptops, Tablets and Processors to customers across the globe. These projects are available below, with more being added as and when we are allowed to share them.
Thales GRiDCASE 2507
Thales selected the GRiDCASE 2507 as the Data Entry Device (DED) for the Lightweight Multiple Launcher (LML) System used by the UK Ministry of Defence.
The GRiDCASE 2507 carries out Built-in Test and performs System Configuration checks for the LML to ensure the system is running at full operational capacity.More info
UK MOD GRiDCASE 1510

The GRiDCASE 1570 is fully configurable allowing for any connector or interface to be integrated whilst maintaining a very low EMC profile and the ability to withstand the harshest environments.More info
Department of Defense GRiDCASE 1590
The US Department of Defense (DoD) selected GRiD Defence Systems to provide user interface laptops for its Guided Missile Launcher Test Set (GMLTS) system, which is used to test the AGM-88 High-Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM).
Legacy systems were obsolete, and the DoD sought a fully tested MIL-STD-1553 data bus card-carrying computer, selecting the ruggedised GRiDCASE 1590 15” laptop for this requirement.More info
CGI GRiDCASE 2530 and 2515 for Small Boats
Small boats and high-speed craft used by the military – an example being rigid inflatable boats (RIBs) – have to survive extreme conditions during operations, including impacts from operating in rough seas and the effects of a corrosive sea environment. Not only does the boat have to be built extremely well, but so too does the computer systems on board that will enable personnel to carry out various missions.
GRiD supply CGI with Rugged Tablet Computers for this very application.More info
AIM GRiDCASE 1595 for Ground Support Equipment (GSE)
AIM – a designer and manufacturer of high performance test and simulation modules – sought military-specification rugged computers that would integrate its data bus test modules for military avionics testing. AIM selected GRiD Defence Systems, and the two companies have now been teaming for over a decade to deliver reliable, high-standard avionics test equipment for aircraft and weapons systems.More info
